This ninth Workshop on Circuits and System Design – WCAS 2019 is devoted to the presentation and discussion of design experiences with a high degree of relevance in industrial, educational and research contexts, as well as innovative design methodologies and application of specific design technologies in an industrial context. The workshop is organized within two tracks: industrial and academic. Contributions should illustrate state-of-the-art designs, design methodologies or tools, which will provide viable solutions in tomorrow’s silicon and embedded systems. The contribution should present electronic circuit and system design results from FPGA and/or ASIC prototypes, or from simulation. Designs that achieve a specific record in terms of performance, power management or any other concrete advantage compared to the state-of-the-art for a given application domain should also be submitted to this workshop. Validated methodologies and techniques through demonstration are welcome.

Paper Submission

Prospective authors from around the world are invited to submit
manuscripts in English for consideration by the Program Committee.
Manuscripts must contain a minimum of 2 pages and a maximum of 4
pages, two-column, in US-Letter size, following the ACM format and be
prepared for blind review. Submissions of manuscripts previously published
by other conferences or journals will not be considered by the program
committee. WCAS submissions must be made electronically (in PDF
format) via the conference website.

Paper Preparation Instructions

The length of the WCAS papers range from 2 to 4 pages. The objective is
to encourage the publication of interesting, however not exhaustively
detailed contributions, mainly from the industry or implementations
reporting proof of concept work of an idea. Hence, for minimum length
papers, concision is mandatory in order not to affect the completeness of
the work. The program committee will have this important information in
mind during the reviewing process. The text must focus on the presentation
of results and contain essential information with sufficient detail to be
understood technically. Please, refer to the call for papers for instructions
regarding the expected paper content.
