The City – Belo Horizonte
Belo Horizonte, translated as beautiful horizon, is the capital of the State of Minas Gerais, located 843 m above sea level, full of greenery and with a pleasant atmosphere. The urban infrastructure of this 118-year-old city combines modernity to tradition and houses around 2.5 million inhabitants who benefit from a range of entertainment options.

Beagá, as it is also graciously called, issituated in a strategic location within Brazil as close as a one-hour flight from Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo or Brasília, being considered an important hub to the national air network. The city offers more bars per capita than any other major Brazilian city, serving an exclusive range of options for drinks and food, especially the famous regional cachaça, the main ingredient for the world-famous caipirinha.
The surrounding area is rich with unspoiled natural areas, including caves, waterfalls and tropical biospheres. There is also direct access to historical colonial cities, as Ouro Preto, and to the exquisite open-air art-gallery complex amid landscaped gardens, Inhotim. The State of Minas Gerais is active in various industrial sectors, agricultural crops and cattle handling, having also staged a history in the microelectronics national scenario.
